Prototype support for young and aspiring innovators is made available through the Nidhi-Prayas Program. With the Prayas award, entrepreneurs can take their concepts and convert them into a working prototype of their product. The inventor or startup should own any intellectual property they create. Innovator/startups can receive up to Rs. 10 lakhs in financial assistance, however the final amount is subject to approval by the monitoring committee of a Prayas centre. The selecting process will be incubated by Bhau Institute.
The Nidhi Prayas Yojna promises to speed up the idea-to-market journey by enabling rapid prototyping of innovative concepts. In order to help new technology/knowledge/innovation-based start-ups and bring innovative answers to local and global issues, the platform has been established. Developing a network of entrepreneurs, institutions, mentors and incubators is something the PRAYAS is excited about.
